A Give Back from a Resident – Yee Hong Heights Received a New Car Donation

The Society strives to promote cross-border residential care service and operates The HKJC Shenzhen Society for Rehabilitation Yee Hong Heights (YHH), the first cross-border home for the elderly in Shenzhen. It integrates rehabilitation and health management services, and offers a second option for the elderly from Hong Kong to spend their later life. To facilitate YHH’s residents from Hong Kong to receive Hong Kong medical service, cross-border accessible shuttle bus service was provided.

Thanks to the generosity of YHH resident Granny CHAN-CHUN, YHH has procured a brand new wheelchair-accessible vehicle to replace the old one. The new vehicle is expected to commence service in mid-2022. and will send YHH residents to attend medical appointments at the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital and Yantian District People’s Hospital. It is expected that the YHH residents from Hong Kong will also be able to travel between Hong Kong and Shenzhen when the normal customs clearance resume.
