Come and meet our six Barrier Busters of the HKSR!
Our six Barrier Busters signify people with different degree of disabilities in our society. They may face limitations and challenges in their daily lives as well as in their process of rehabilitation. Yet, with appropriate rehabilitation services and most importantly social support, they can and have the ability to restore their potentials and participate in the community and live a fulfilling life with dignity.
Led by Captain Phoenix who is the icon of HKSR, theme of our Flag Day this year is “I Support” for our Barrier Busters, namely Cloaky, Dex, Ringo, Wavey, Yolo and Zooomba who represent different degree of disabilities. Together, we aim at raising public awareness of accessibility and opportunities for persons with disabilities, and bringing everyone to understand the importance of holistic well-being. Together, we can create an inclusive environment for the abled and the disabled.
Captain Phoenix
