To ensure effective use of resources and serve more users in need of the government-subsidized Rehabus Dial-a-Ride Service (DAR), a maximum number of 3 carers per PwMI user per DAR trip will take effect for bookings made on or after 18 January 2025 (ratio as 1 PwMI:3 carers).

If a user, for any reasonable reasons, has to exceed the set limit on the maximum number of carers per PwMI user ratio, e.g. the trip purpose as special appointments (such as funerals, court, banquets, gathering in Chinese New Year, entering or leaving Hong Kong for travelling, grave-sweeping, etc.), our organisation will consider the request case by case.
