CRN30 Logo

The CRN 30th Anniversary icon adopts warm and gentle shades of pink and blue as the main colors, conveying CRN’s caring service concept that has accompanied the people of Hong Kong for the past 30 years. The icon combines the “30” numeral with the new image of “Rehab Side by Side,” highlighting the idea of CRN progressing together with the citizens. The icon design is simple and elegant, with smooth and flowing lines that exude a sense of dynamism, conveying a positive and vibrant feeling. It vividly showcases the characteristics of CRN’s services, symbolizing the hope to walk with you side by side and be by your side for another 30 years of progress.

The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation Community Rehabilitation Network 30th Anniversary Kick-off Ceremony cum Exhibition – Moving Forward, Making a Difference: Celebrating 30 Years

Starting from daily activities such as walking, chewing, swallowing, and dressing, the exhibition highlights the importance of understanding organ and muscle functions, coordination, and balance. It aims to raise awareness about the living conditions and needs of individuals with chronic illnesses and how the Community Rehabilitation Network supports them. The event also includes sharing stories from “Community Rehabilitation Network 30th Anniversary Ambassadors”. Various interactive installations such as a large paper airplane and a “Rehab Side by Side” mailbox are available for visitors to enjoy. The exhibition welcomes the public, groups, and schools to attend free of charge.

Self-Organisation Shared Space Project: Self-Organisation Charging Station (SHO Chill)

This project focuses on the well-being of staff and executive committee members of SHOs as well as hoping to expand the self-organisation staff community, establishing a mutual support network. Activities include lunchtime meditation, physical exercises, baking, and more.

Through a visit to the “Lingnan Jockey Club Age-friendly Technology Experience Gallery”, participants can understand the relationship between age-friendly technology and health management. The goal is to encourage participants to utilize digital technology to take charge of their personal health.

Mind-Body Stress Relief Workshop

Participants will learn about the relationship between stress, the body, and emotions. They will acquire techniques for stress reduction, relaxation, and enhancing resilience to achieve mind-body harmony.

Mindful Living Made Easy with “Ding Ding 1010”

Mindfulness and meditation have gained popularity in recent years, with research indicating their significant benefits for individuals with chronic illnesses. Join the “Mindfulness Made Easy” event, where you can incorporate mindfulness and meditation into your daily life through a book and 15-minute daily practices.

Healing Journey of Stories: Wisdom Sharing Between Patients and Carers

Through the power of storytelling, this event aims to create resonance among individuals and explore the challenges faced by patients and carers. It seeks to convey their wisdom and courage, providing support and understanding while embarking on a healing journey and sharing the treasure of wisdom together.

Embracing New Sports : Celebrating the First Rehabilitation Games

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Community Rehabilitation Network, the First Rehabilitation Games aims to cultivate participants’ exercise habits and make physical activity their companion on the journey to rehabilitation. The event includes experiential activities and competitions in darts and Mölkky, allowing participants to witness the achievements of the participants and experience the fun of these activities firsthand.

SHO Incubation Centre Opening Ceremony and Mutual Aid Festival

Having undergone a complete renovation, the Wang Tau Hom Center has been transformed into a vibrant space. It now includes a multi-functional venue with amenities such as a photography studio, recording room, and shared space, providing a comfortable and creative working environment for staff members of patient organizations. In addition to the opening ceremony, the center will host a week-long community art exhibition and a series of workshops, showcasing artworks by community members and patient organization members.

“Synergising Rehabilitation with Primary Healthcare for Quality Community Living and Sustainable Development” International Conference

This conference aims to bring together practitioners, researchers, administrators, service providers, advocates for community-based care, policymakers and prospective professionals in health and social services from the Western Pacific regions and beyond to share their research work and best practices related to rehabilitation and primary healthcare. The conference seeks to inspire discussions and synergistic actions aimed at enhancing the functioning, participation, and well-being of service users, promoting the seamless integration of rehabilitation and primary healthcare, and ultimately improving the efficiency of the healthcare system.

Self-Organisation Shared Space Project: Lunch & Learn

This project supports organisations in utilizing digital technology to provide more interactive and supportive ways for members to connect and enhance organisational efficiency. Activities include learning to use Canva, AI, and various apps for organisational tasks.

Tuen Mun District Carnival

By organizing a celebratory carnival in the community, this event aims to establish closer connections with the public and stakeholders, promote services, and build a comprehensive support network.
