Southern District Rehab Access

 “Southern District Rehab Access” is one of the signature projects of the Southern District Council. This 5-year project aims at providing free accessible transport services to Southern District residents with impaired mobility and their carers for travelling to and from public hospitals and medical institutions in the Southern District.

Service Features

1. Apart from a captain on board, an attendant is designated to every “Southern District Rehab Access”(SDRA) vehicle to assist passengers  in getting on and off, securing wheelchairs and fastening seat belts.

2. To facilitate passengers to identify our vehicles, service name and the logo of the  Southern District Council are printed on each vehicle. In addition, an electronic display board showing route number and destination is installed at the front of each vehicle.

3. It is a free accessible transport service for Southern District residents with impaired mobility and their carers for travelling to and from public hospitals and medical institutions in Southern District.

Service hours of the Customer Service Hotline are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:00pm (Closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays). Users could call the Hotline for more information and booking.

Users can download and install our Mobile Application “SDRA Mobile (Passenger)” for service reservation and  information on routes and estimated arrival time.

Environmental Hygiene

In response to the COVID‑19 pandemic,  “Southern District Rehab Access”  carried out Raze Vehicle Sanitizing Service on all vehicles. All places where passengers had the opportunity to contact were coated with disinfectant spray to improve the hygiene of the cabin environment and protect the health of passengers.
