Residential and Personal Care

  1. Three basic nutritional meals are provided for residents. Special diets and snacks between meals are also provided when necessary.
  2. Personal care workers to assist residents in activities of daily living. Laundry and room cleaning service are also provided.

Nursing and Medical Care

  1. Nursing and medical care are provided by nurses and health workers. This includes regular check-ups such as blood pressure measurement, and nursing care such as injections, dressing, etc.
  2. Health talks and trainings for caregivers are held regularly.
  3. Registered doctors and Chinese medicine practitioners visit the care home regularly to provide outreach consultation. Acupuncture is also provided by Chinese medicine practitioners.

Rehabilitation Service

  1. Physiotherapists and occupational therapists develop rehabilitation plans for residents based on individual assessment to enhance their physical ability and their self-care ability in daily living.
  2. Consultation and buying services for rehabilitation equipment.

Counselling Service

  1. Professional social workers provide counselling services to help residents in adapting and maintaining interpersonal relationships and a positive lifestyle.

Social and Recreational Activities

  1. A wide variety of arts, social and recreational activities enable the residents to lead an abundant life. Interest classes, outings, festival celebrations, birthday parties, social gatherings with volunteers and various performances are organized for residents year round.

Dementia Care Service

  1. Adopting the Eden Alternative Approach, which is a pioneer service model in Hong Kong, the Eden College is formulated with an accredited programme structure and design to eliminate the feeling of loneliness, helplessness and boredom of the elderly while facing the ageing process and community care. Through the Eden Alternative framework, cultural boundaries in ageing care services are motivated and reformed, and the traditional care culture is transformed into a new perception of dementia care. More social connections and a meaningful life are requirements for all ages.
