 Yee Hong shows Love for the Elderly through Continuing Care Recent decades have seen an increasingly aging population and a trend toward having more chronically ill patients in the younger generations. The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation has responded to these social demands by gradually enhancing its continuing care programmes. Established in 2001, the Cheng Tak Yim Day Rehabilitation & Care Centre has been providing day care services for stroke or brain injury patients. In order to care for the elderly comprehensively and to lessen the financial and mental burdens on the patients'families, a"through-train"elderly care service will be provided by HKSR's Yee Hong Yuen in Shenzhen, which will be in operation by the end of 2005.
