Subvented by the Labour and Welfare Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the "Rehabus Service" has been dedicated to providing accessible transport services for the people with disabilities to travel between workplaces, schools and public places ever since it was established in 1978. Services offered by the Rehabus cover four categories, namely Scheduled Route Service, Dial-a-Ride Service, Pooled Dial-a-Ride Service and Feeder Service, which allow users to choose the appropriate services needed.
In order to ensure the safety of disabled passengers, we have installed various special equipment in the compartment of the Rehabus, including automatic tail lift, indicator light for boarding and alighting, wheelchair safety lock, etc. In 2003, the Rehabus successfully attained the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management Certificate. Currently, our fleet consists of about 92 buses serving a network of about 60 routes every day, achieving an average capacity of over 560,000 passenger trips per annum.
